Charities to Support this Christmas: Youth Sport Trust

In the spirit of Christmas cheer, we thought it'd be a great idea to revisit the festive articles we published last year. To start with, let's take a look at one of the charities we told you about who do an incredible job working with children in sport.

Whether you're trying to make your rosters paperless, automate your finances or improve the way you store/handle your data; it's all about finding the right club membership database. If you're US-based and are struggling to find a system that you like, the wait is almost over. Coacha is soon to be launching in the USA and you can register your interest in getting a free trial here.

The Youth Sport Trust are a charity focused on allowing children to enjoy the “life-changing benefits” from play/sport. They are committed to discovering new routes to “give children a brighter future”.

We’ve chosen to support Youth Sport Trust because like us, they have a passion for sport and improving lives. We may be software to help sports clubs, but behind the software are coaches who are always trying to improve the lives of their own athletes. We’re just like you.

They’re currently trying to focus on improving lives via sport for a new generation. Today’s children will have significantly different Christmas memories than ours. Where time used to be spent reading, outdoors or enjoying time with loved ones, more and more time is now being spent on technology. Youth Support Trust are keeping this in mind whilst undertaking their work.

How can you support Youth Sport Trust?

Youth Sport Trust can only continue to do such fantastic work with the public’s help.

There are various ways you can make a donation, and you can donate as little or as much as you’d like. Found out the best route for you here.

Challenge Events

With your fundraising, Youth Sport Trust focuses on closing the gap between better-off children and those less privileged when it comes to sport, specifically in deprived areas.

So, whether you’re doing your first marathon, jumpathon or sponsored silence, you can choose your own goals and help Youth Sport Trust change the future.

Youth Sport Trust have various different leadership/volunteering opportunities available and you can read more about them here.
